Glorious “vacation”

In depth of the discussion on whether to fully enjoy the day out to the largest island on this planet “technically” as Australia is a continent and Greenland is connected to the Arctic by ice, Borneo is left as one island where 3 counties share it. looking at many experiences explained: i was truly stunned by the trip and was actually looking forward to this. Nevertheless i believe God wasn’t too kind to again as i wasn’t too brought off my imaginations. . . .

Seriously an experience . . . .  . . . . 

Arriving on the skimpiest flight i have ever took to this island  then was brought to the hotel/ lounge 121. . . . in a way reminding me to call 121 to check my voice messages. Even so with the IKEA sent of the room, made the feeling of it in a fake sale environment made a difference to my list of places been.

Made of mainly Chinese shop-lots the city of Kuching is a striking resemblance to Melacca in so many aspects, making the understanding of the culture and environment here easy as it is a close relation to home. Today is the day of getting use to the area as this is my first time here over to the east coast of Malaysia and judging from what i see here is not that far off from what is there on the peninsula, yet with the span of area on this land and the immense forest reserves, by the swirling snake river of the Rajang made this land truly clean and green something we all love to have in our daily life. It is a short day into the long 5 day adventure we are embarking to analyse a site for our design class.

Looking forward to see more of this place and i hope and wish and cross my fingers that this place will hold better secrets for me to appreciate and remember this place one day when i would want to look back down memory lane.

At Baste. . . .

Wondering at the eternal shone that shine endlessly. . . . as thought it will never be put off, but that is just a miss-conception seemingly enough this may happen in time and that we may not be there to see it when it really does turn its socket off. That’s what our unfortunate life is all about. Never there for it to happen and never will have a chance to make a difference, never will have, never will be.

As this runs to your mind and registering an error in the system, do not be surprise to come to terms that we are unfortunately doomed. Anyhow we look at things and the effect that may occur this is surely a troubling thought to jolt your senses. Today is the 5th anniversary in the War in Iraq (as i would put it is actually the World War 3) it is after all the 3rd war that happened in modern day history where weapons, booms and all the mambo jumbo machines were use: its conclusive that it is a war that changed the world. Shockingly enough is by far one war that shouldn’t have happened. Its based on nothing solid and the effects are monumental. Judging on the world today. . . . ask your self: is it any better?

Yup its on fire . . . . . .

How have we come to such a state where greed over runs our judgement . . . can we continue to live like this? It is without doubt human nature to care for one self but when it comes to other lives and the world for that matter seem to be larger in-terms of consideration: Its is wrong anyway, if Iraq was left as it was, none of what is happening today will ever happen. Millions of lives saved, millions preserve and human right up-lifted. The world we see today is not what it is suppose to be. How hunger, protests, fights, riots, wars, killing and more. . . all based on religious stand?? why cant everyone let everyone be. . . we are all different, why cant we let each and other live the way they would want to?

Things can only change if the world works together for a stronger voice . . . . . . and as one
Another issue is global climate change. . . . this Sunday is World Water Day.

It is inevitable that the climate have change drastically, thanks to our global urge for money and development. The world today is a different place to live in and it will not improve for the better as time will not rewind itself. The damage is there and the only thing we can do to lighten the damage, by working together and curb the effects. Every little bit helps in global health . . . . .

Smoking awesome death man!!!!

The world will change a-lot sooner if we don’t act fast. We need to cut down on carbon emission and our habits. Recycling and awareness can go along way. . . Soon the world we see now and have come to know how it looks and feels will not be the same again . . . water levels will rise with it coast lines and islands too. Sandy beaches and swampy areas will be eliminated. We will be force to move inland, the lands will be smaller and smaller . . . . while our numbers grow larger and larger. There will be fights, torture and struggle. . . humans will turn into barbarians, because the environment forces humans to struggle onto what is left. . . the climate will prove too harsh to survive, many will die; cannibalism will occur as food source become limited because the climate change forces other life forms to extinct or move away. . . Life will not be easy because we did not do anything now. . .

This may not be so familiar as it is now . . . .

World Water Day. . . we must be aware that fresh water is very important in out daily lives and if we continue to contaminate our sources . . . bare in mind we are contaminating ourselves too. For our survival fresh water is very crucial, water is the core of life . . .

Save, Recycle and Protect our Waters before we have none to use . . .

Its important to know that we are not going to do any better at this state but we can lighten things by choosing the right person to lead us, fight the wrongs, recycle, re-use, save, be aware on what is happening in this world. . .

and Most importantly: tolerance in deception

If we love our home, do something about it.

keeping it together at baste, working to secure it together . . .

Persistence of passion

The un-earthly pleasure of dreaming may seem to be somewhat overly since considering the point of its origin as our instinct. The fact of such thoughts cloud our mind with ignorance and naive-ness, but we all know what is forbidden is all that is beautiful. Knowing the what is to love is more then the mind can imagine and only time can tell. Being able to connect in a manner to over come fear and resistance may seem to be a way for more. Fear- a strong word in vocabularies all over but can mean the heart beat, that moves only for one: which is the other. How can fear be loved?

The black image is only the concept for Sony Ericsson K900 Cybershot. It looks quite interesting, but many people could draw it in no time and then present it as a real thing. Still, a second image has appeared, confirming the first one, although looking highly more real.

Just assuming that this phone is real, it surely looks great and will surely win some fans from those who loved the iPhone when it first appeared. Sony Ericsson was probably not even trying to compete with Apple’s handset, but just to respond to the trend of removing all buttons and replacing them with a touchscreen.That’s a simple and sleek design that definitely looks good, but also takes away all personal accents of the devices, making them look almost the same. Soon enough, we will have many iPhone-looking devices out there, although carrying the brand name of various producers. Diversity will come only under the shape of specifications, but design also bears some amount of importance which i think will be the future of mobile devices all over.

The new Sony Ericsson K900 Cybershot looks smoking in black, with its huge display, but then again, so did LG Prada, the iPhone, the future to come KU990 Viewity. It’s no longer a big thing, although the “real” image also seems to enclose the high reflecting feature of LG Shine. All in all, a hybrid phone and will be a great phone if its real . . . . 7.2 Mp, full touchscreen and its a Sony Ericsson!!

Sony Ericsson has got a new baby and execs call it a “premium” convergence device and forewarn that it won’t be cheap, yet they promise the Xperia X1 mobile phone will be worth every cent you spend on it (hell it is!!).

The Xperia is smoking hot (this is gadget porn) That, of course, is an assertion that is yet to be verified as the device will only be available in North America in the second half of 2008.

However, the information and preview provided during the product’s launch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday created a buzz that resonated across the Web causing many geeks like me to drool all over . . . . .

One commentator hailed Xperia X1 as the new reference in terms of productivity and entertainment, and “the most exciting Windows Mobile phone since the Blackjack 2.”  Another observed that X1’s “luscious aluminum shell” and “amazingly sharp display” would “put Apple’s iPhone to shame.” i mean seriously!!

Sony Ericsson itself is positioning Xperia X1 is a “game changing device” that that will take convergence to new levels. The company is avoiding use of the term “smart phone”, according Suzanne Cross, head product marketing manager for Sony Ericsson North America, well obviously this is something new!!

lately . . .

School is great . . .  had a wonderful time with lecturers and also friends. The theme in school seems to be the same. Heading to a point of doom as some would put it. But i doubt it will be any worst than it is now, currently i feel free as there are no obligations to anything except my self and also my work. Being able to do second year seem to be a shinning start to a whole new year and to adulthood. I find this year a year full of unlimited possibilities filled with the joy of learning and doing mind wracking, world changing studying. i feel like i have the Cart Blanche (well we all do in making a choice in our lives)

The worst thing that i could have heard last week during submission: was that everyone suck badly at their work. I was deverstated to hear such an account given the fact that there weren’t any sort of tutorials with us regarding our submissions prior to the submission date. Monday brief, short chat and understanding. Thursday submission. Normally: Brief-chat-tutorial-submission. I was shocked but  was numb about it. I could do anything but suspect the lecturers generalize the whole class without looking in detail at every students work hence explaining the incomplete markings on all our works. Comment raised: poor understanding of the main 6 spaces, poor model making, poor composition, poor drawings, wrong drawing composition & techniques. What can i say, we are all probably still in the holiday mood; but  then again it is impossible to say that everyone was that bad? well i went off with wilson to Mid Valley (yes our favorite hang out place) and watched 10 000 BC but before that we had dinner.

May i say this, dinner was wonderful and unbelievable. One- we went for typical hawker food, two- its Gurney Drive in The Gardens, three- we ordered 2/3 main course meals each. . .  . . . . spent nearly 90 bucks (not everyday we can say: hey i spent 90 bucks on char kiew teow, and rojak!! cool huh?) but it was worth it because we wash down all the bad comments and critics by our lecturers moments ago. Walked around The Gardens and at Flying Chilies there was this fashion show, mens fashion or something. To be frank i believe the Malaysian Male Models are not only ugly they were really bad at walking. . .  (i think i can do better hahahaha) overal the show sucked!!!! badly!!! oh well  . . . . .

Oh i wanted to say this too . . . .if your thinking of watching 10 000 BC, my advice don’t!!

I find the movie boring, the development was utterly slow and unattractive. Adventure were a blunt death. Ending was even worst. Beautiful effects and interpretations on history but i believe it was all wrong from the books. Not a movie with good moral, nor acting. It is a story about a legand and saving his loved . . . .  2 stars from me

watch it if you like seeing Steven Straits & Camilia Belle in rags . . .

 Then this week . . . . Lecturer taught us actually, drilled us about the spaces so that we truly understand it. During tutorial time, My lecturer said he wasn’t worried about me because all my spaces we all right, and composition wise interesting- i practically snap back at him saying that he made a wrong judgement and literally have not looked through all the works before hand!! we both laughs as he said well we gotta push you folks hahaha

Oh another thing- it was also presentation. . . . gosh i forgot everything that i wanted to say (my mind just went blank) so i presented without a base  . . . . lcturers hated the facts (i totally forgot) but liked the effort haha

10,000 BC is a 2008 American film set in the prehistoric era directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Camilla Belle and Steven Strait. The film is slated for a March 7, 2008 release: personally its something of the Ice Age genre fused with Disney themes- prince fights to save girl from evil someone who wants her for himself.

10,000 BC was originally slated for July 27, 2007, the release date but was pushed back to December 14, 2007. The film’s release was postponed a second time to March 7, 2008. .  . lets just hope its something worth the postpone.
